An old book becomes both subject and collaborator as Schizophyllum commune colonises its pages. The printed word, once stable and authoritative, is slowly unraveled by fungal growth, which inserts its own textures and forms into the margins of human knowledge.
In this process, reading is reimagined as an encounter between species — one where text is not fixed but continuously rewritten by decomposition.
