Field Notes from the Edge of Memory
These layered collages bring together observation, memory, and fungal matter to form a living record of time spent witnessing fungi. They reflect on knowledge-making across history, held in the tension between preservation and decay: the archival impulse to fix meaning, and the fungal impulse to let it decompose.
Combining paper fragments with spore prints, text, and traces of decomposition, Field Notes proposes an archive that is porous, unstable, and alive.
