An audio work created in response to Delhi's catastrophic 2025 monsoon, when countless trees were felled and cleared before fungi could begin their slow work of decomposition. The piece weaves together field recordings of storms and post-storm stillness, fragments of voice notes, quiet conversations with trees, and the distant lament of peacocks.
Heard together, these layers form an elegy for ecological processes cut short, inviting listeners into a shared practice of mourning across species.
